This is a “study” of flagellation and corporal punishment in the military and police. Illustrated with line drawings by Léon Roze. It was written by the French author, Georges Grassal de Choffat (or Hugues Rebell) a prolific contributor to early 20th century French spanking literature who often used the pseudonym, “Jean de Villiot” for his books published by Charles Carrington. This is a very rare book, seldom seen in this condition.
