Jean de Villiot was a pseudonym used by several authors and compilers working for the publisher Charles Carrington writing novels and “studies” concerning flagellation, including Hugues Rebell (Georges Grassal), Hector France, Stéphane Arnoulin and Charles Carrington, himself.
We sell antiques and old books that are 50-250+ years old. In their day, many of these items were considered objectionable and obscene. In most places they were illegal at one time or another and had to be sold underground.
Although freedom of expression has come a long way in the last 60 years, we understand that, while perfectly legal, some of this material might still be objectionable to some viewers.
If you find graphic descriptions and depictions of sex and BDSM-related activites objectionable, please shop elsewhere. Or if you are under 18, this site is not for you.
If this site IS for you, welcome... browse our inventory, read about the fascinating history, and enjoy.
